Dear CES Community,

 

We have some important announcement for you this week:

1. Student Portfolio Data Form. We are currently working on an student portfolio page for our CES website where people who are interested in our College could gain an insight on what kind of students are here and what we are working on. We would like to feature all of you, grad students of CES, so we're asking you to kindly fill out a data form with your information before October 29th (Tue.). 2. CES Anniversary World Cafe. To celebrate CES 10-Year Anniversary, we are organizing a World Cafe Event on November 11th (Mon.) where we will share our talent through performances, repairing and creative skills by making sustainability come to life in the most real way possible. We sincerely invite you to participate in this event by contributing some talent, skills or simply attending this event. There will be coffee, tea and delicious snacks for all. Please fill out the following form before November 4th (Mon.) so we have an idea of how many people will attend and what kind of skills and/ or talents are available. 3. Chinan Orienteering Activity. We are organizing an orienteering activity in Chinan National Forest Recreation Area (池南國家森林遊樂區) on November 17th (Sun.). Together we will learn about local ecology, acquire some basic navigational skills (reading maps and using compass) and use them for a competitive orienteering group game. This activity is funded by the Department, however we will need a deposit of NTD 250 which will be reimbursed to you in the end of the semester. We invite all of you to join us.
